Broken Bin and Problems with Calle Jazmin also Rubbish on (plots 305 & 306) owned by Jos Billet in C/- Jazmin. He had some of it cleared but there is more back now. I am also told that he has sold the house on 305 and half the plot. This leaves him plot 306 & half of 305 to amalgamate to make a plot large enough for a house and leaves 305 as (in theory) too small to be allowed a house. b). MINUTES OF DIRECTORS MEETING. Meeting held on Monday 27th May 2017 - 12.00 pm at Don Cayo Golf.

Present: Wolfgang Fischer (President), Antonio Perez Albiñana (Vice President ES), Richard Kent (Treasurer), Matthew King (Secretary), Willem Van Oorde, Annetta Eberhardt (NHW coordinator), Emil Apeldoorn, Terry Miles (Web coordinator), Sonata Lungmus, Apologies for absence – John Schimell, Francisco Javier Gomez. 1). The Minutes of meeting held 20/03/2017 were approved. 2. Treasurers Report. RK reported that approx.. €1000 had been spent last month on repair of the Buzon Lights (€763), Petty Cash €100, and Misc. The Lights are now working in the Buzones. 3. Secretary’s Report. MK reported that there were 280 members. A.E has reported that some of her NHW e-mails were returned undelivered to members on the list – MK to Investigate. Also 2 members had definitely left and were to be removed from the members list. 4. Vecinos Website. T.M. had updated Vecinos Website and nothing major to report. All working well. Investigating New Fire Control Alert System from the Valencian Government which will override Altea’s Alerts. More news to follow later. 5. NHW update. Annetta informed the Board of a new e-mail which will be sent around to NHW Members informing them of a system of reporting Incidents on line – Date: Time: When and Where for example. The list should be available this week. More NHW signs should be available soon. MK informed AE of existing NHW Whats App scheme and will pass on her number (and WF’s number) to the co-ordinator Ellis De Jong for inclusion in the list. 6. Other business. a).WF informed the Committee of a meeting he attended with EPA regarding registering of Associations. All who attended felt that was a good informative meeting and a WF is to prepare the Associations paperwork. In May there will be another meeting regarding Taxes of associations and as we earn no profit we will not be affected by this. b). 3rd April there was a meeting with Beatrice from Altea Ayuntamiento where it was learned that there is to be a new Green Container initiative – when – we do not know - but there will be one. c). Once again WF reminded the Committee that there are telephone numbers on the bins to call if the Bins are full or if there are any “bigger items” needing to be removed from households. If you see anyone dumping rubbish from building works or excessive gardening rubbish (especially contractors) it is now possible to Denounce the names and the van/vehicle registrations on line at the Ayuntamiento’s website rather than making a visit to Altea to denounce them. d). There has also been a “Banda” initiated by the Ayuntamiento of Altea to inform people that their overhanging trees into public spaces must be cut. It was pointed out by T.M. that this was all well and good where the plots belonged to someone but what happened when they were a danger and there was no-one to contact. e). MK also brought up the severely poor level of cleaning to the roads with regard to the plants and trees growing particularly down Avda Bernia. MK pointed out that this hadn’t appeared to have been cleaned at all for several months even though the Ayuntamiento had promised a minimum cleaning period. f). AE pointed out that we needed to know why the Lights to the Entrance of Bernia Golf on the main road were not working – it is particularly dark at night here on this very dangerous bend. W.F. to raise an Instancia or at least question the Ayuntamiento over the reason why these lights are not on. g). WF informed the committee that the ‘higher than normal road bump’ in Avda Principal Instancia has been closed. TM wanted to know why it has been closed as it was still a problem. WF to ask why there is no report as to the Ayuntamiento’s decision. h). No parking is to be allowed in front of the Buzones in Avda Principal as it causes lane closure and difficulty accessing the Buzones. i) On the last Monday of each month there is to be a “Question and Answer” meeting in Altea La Vella with the Town Hall where Citizens may ask the Town Hall any Questions they like regarding the Town Hall and its facilities or indeed any complaints at 12.00pm. j). WF has raised 2 Instancias 1) on the missing lampost on Avenida Principal 2) Broken Bins on Calle Jazmin from Builders Rubbish k).Summer Party Invitation for 7.30 start Menu as prepared by Don Cayo Golf Club with Bottle of wine included. Menu to be Meat or Fish and pre-ordered by letter to the secretary. The members will receive a “ticket or sticker” on arrival for fish selection given at the door to aid the waiters. MK will arrange music. Non Members will be assigned special tickets and NOT included in the raffle prizes. There being no other business the meeting closed at approx.13.10.
