MINUTES OF DIRECTORS MEETING. Meeting held on Friday 23 June 2017 - 12.00 pm at Don Cayo Golf.

Present: Wolfgang Fischer (President), Antonio Perez Albiñana (Vice President ES), Richard Kent (Treasurer), Matthew King (Secretary), , Annetta Eberhardt (NHW coordinator), Emil Apeldoorn, Terry Miles (Web coordinator), Sonata Lungmus, Francisco Javier Gomez Apologies for absence – John Schimell, Willem Van Oorde 1). The Minutes of meeting held 15/05/2017 were approved. 2. Treasurers Report. 3. Secretary’s Report. MK reported that there were now 289 members. Problems with Membership enrolment – web-site membership registration is not working correctly. MK and TM have been in contact regarding this and has been passing over new member forms manually – TM to Investigate further and find solution to the problem. 4. Vecinos Website. See above Secretary Report. TM added that there is a “Black Hole” in G Mail which “Looses” mail. TM will rectify problem by sending the mail to a “tigbos” account where it will be picked up by MK. 5. NHW update. More NHW signs should be available soon. Robberies seem “low” at the moment – Police concentrating on alcohol control but their presence will be noted by potential robbers 6. Other business. a). Summer Party/Ball – Mk reported that there were 110 attending including 22 guests + 2 meals for the entertainment. = 112 Meals total 48 Fish and 64 steak. Doormen on the night JS and RK will be given coloured spreadsheet with all the names and meals on them. MK to supply a coloured disc for all those with Fish Meals to be placed on the table for the waiting staff to know who is having fish and who is having steak to be put on the table. MK to confirm numbers Tuesday but minus 6 in case of “No shows”. He will confirm Friday morning final numbers. CaToni have given a Lottery prize and so has The Alexandro at Don Cayo – AE is donating a prize and there are a couple of bottles of wine. b). NIE numbers must be provided by the membership for true membership of the association. Our own byelaw says that it is possible to be a member without having an NIE number but it has been pointed out that this is not acceptable under the local authority statutes. MK has tried to collect data but this may have been a problem retrospectively with e-mails “disappearing” hopefully this will be rectified in the future. c). WF attended a meeting with the town hall and found it very informative – regarding procedures with memberships and associations. He invited other members of the board to attend various forthcoming events and E.A and S.L would try to attend the next meetings and report back to the board. d) A.P.A. passed out forms for the Inscription of ALL members of our association to sign for the Ayuntamiento – it is a new by-law requirement for everyone to send in this form and signing a “privacy statement”. WF suggested that we wait before sending it out to all the members to see how this new “legislation” will be enforced and regulated. e). After promising to clean roads every few weeks last year the Ayuntamiento hasn’t cleaned the roads for at least 8 months. WF to raise and Instancia for this f). Speeding vehicles are still a problem on Avda Principal (TM), as are the speed bumps which create a lot of noise. What can actually be done is a problem but maybe signs that light on speeding vehicles and the purchase of a radar gun? TBD further. There being no other business the meeting was called to close at 13.37. Addendum to d). The Form is to be filled out by each member of our association and retained by us for our information. I believe we obviously ask for more information than most other Associations as I believe we have the majority of this information in our Membership Information.
