Minutes of Director’s Meeting at Meliton, Altea la Vella 15th April 2019. The Meeting took place at Meliton in Altea la Vella at 11.00 attended by the Directors of the Board of the Asociación: Wolfgang Fischer (President), Antonio Perez Albiñana (Vice President), Annette Eberhardt (NHW), Willem van Oorde (Minutes), Ismael Fernandez (membership), Anne Vanderborne. Apologies for absence: Richard Kent, Boudewijn Overduin, Toni Canet, Francisco Jerry Gomis The meeting was conducted in English and Spanish. Item 1) Minutes of last meeting The minutes were approved Item 2) Treasurer’s report (per email sent by treasurer to PvO) This is the approximate pre-buzones reorg total and is mainly due to the collection of the higher annual rental fee (euro 30). 4 residents announced their desire to have a buzon, but payment not yet made. Richard will follow up. Two renters paid twice by mistake. In hands of Paco Alcaraz. Item 3) Secretaries report: Due to delayed arrival of secretary, this section was deferred. Anne reported that she had written to buzon renters who were not signed up members of the Association. She does not have the email address of a certain Mr Nunn. Agreed that she should bring the letter to next meeting and Wolfgang, who has access key to the buzones, will place the letter in Mr Nunn’s box. Item 4) Website: It was noted again that Terry continued to do an excellent job in respect of updating and maintaining the website. In this regard the AGM minutes had also been posted. Question raised as to the wisdom of including the financials in the public domain. PvO remarked that every set of minutes has included the financial information, and these are also in the public domain. This point will be discussed at the next meeting. Item 5) NHW Nothing to report: we are still waiting for the new signs. Annette is chasing. Apparently, progress will be made once an official photo has been taken of the changing of the sign in the presence of the Guardia Civil. Item 6) Instancias Toni was unable to attend but had advised Wolfgang of the following: he will return to Altea Wednesday (17th April) and will re-inspect the damaged roads. It seems that the best course of action is to wait until both Easter is over, and the local elections have taken place. Decision to be made with regard to submitting formal instancias. Wolfgang will discuss with Toni. Item 7) Other points a) – Minutes of the extraordinary meeting - Town hall and committee members - attached in both languages. b) Summer party. Menu choices were discussed at length. Will make final decision at next meeting but consensus was to offer two choices only – meat/fish - with remark that vegetarian available on request. Regarding music, it was agreed to go with the “Duo”. Wolfgang will circulate a YouTube link. Invitations to be sent out around May 22. Format, draft invitation etc will be dealt with at next meeting. Ismael requested updated database of members. Anna will forward (one change only). Item 8) Next meetings 13 May 17 June 28 June - Summer Party Meeting ended 12.20 pm. WAvO
