Minutes of Committee Members Meeting Altea la Vella 05th July 2021. The Meeting took place at the Altea Golf and Country Club at 11.30 attended by the members of the committee of the Asociación: Present were: Annette Eberhardt (interim president), Richard Kent, Anne Vanderborne. Wolfgang Fischer, Boudewijn Overduin. Angela Herran, Lisa Andreetti, Ismael Fernandez. Apologies for absence: Francisco Jerry Gomis, Willem v Oorde, Toni Canet The meeting was conducted in English. The minutes were taken by the president and written up by W. v. Oorde upon receipt of the hand-written notes. 1. Minutes of Meeting of 7th June 2021 were approved 2. Lisa and Angela were welcomed – and approved as new committee members. Their specific responsibilities to be discussed and agreed at next meeting. 3. Treasurer’s Report: c. 29 buzones currently unpaid for in respect of the current year. d. 2 buzones are partly damaged; three are open; there were apparent attempted break-ins at two. Richard will contact the owners to establish whether they had inadvertently not closed the buzon correctly. If necessary Richard will contact the Policia Local. 4. Secretary’s Report: a. There are currently 302 members. b. Agreed that the secretary’s functions be shared between Anne (update and management of member lists) and Ismael (all mailings, invitations and overview of activity on the Vecinos email address). c. It was reported that, in the case of 5 members, neither email address nor phone number appear to be functioning. Anne agreed to drop a short note – requesting updated contact details – in the respective buzones, as soon as she receives the respective buzon numbers from Richard. d. It was agreed that Ismael should draft a note inviting residents to become members of the Association. This note will be deposited in every buzon, as well as being posted on the notice (Info) board in the buzon house. 5. Neighbourhood Watch and website. Apparently there have been some recent break-ins in the area. These, however, have not been officially reported to the NHW, so the committee has been unable to update (warn) the members accordingly. Juergen Langer, co-responsible for NHW activities – should be notified of attempted and successful break-ins. 6. Instancias: No further additions/subtractions to the list of instancias. 7. Other points: a) Neighbourhood cats No further update. b) Delayed AGM: Proposed date unchanged -namely Friday 26 November 2021, Covid regulations permitting. Members will be kept up to date. To be discussed/confirmed at next committee meeting. c) Summer party (Fiesta): The following was agreed: Date 6th August at Jacaranda (Golf and Country Club) Registration starts 7.30 pm. Main entrance will be manned from 7 pm by Ismael (attendee list), Richard (cash box) and Annette. Wolfgang will bring blue tabs for the purpose of assisting the serving staff to identify and fulfil the individual menu choice ( menu 1) Guests will be charged 35 euro per head – to include 1 bottle of water. Dinner commences 8.30 pm. Three lottery vouchers will be provided and paid for by the Association. Lottery will be open to members only. Selection/draw will be carried oit by reference to booking number. Ismael will manage process. Invitations to the event will be sent to members a day after the current committee meeting. d) Newsletter Boudewijn to publish 4 per annum - summer, autumn, winter and spring, as a means to keep members informed and engaged. It was decided not to send out the committee meeting minutes per email to individual members. Posting them on the info board in the buzones house, as well as uploading them to the web page, were considered adequate means of informing and involving members. 7.)
