Minutes of Committee Members Meeting Altea la Vella 04 October 2021. The Meeting took place at the Altea Golf and Country Club at 11.45 attended by the members of the committee of the Asociación: Present were: Annette Eberhardt (interim president), Richard Kent, Anne Vanderborne, Angela Herran, Lisa Andreetti, Boudewijn Overduin, Wolfgang Fischer. Apologies for absence: Francisco Jerry Gomis, Willem v Oorde,Toni Canet. Nellie Lozano, Ismael Fernandez The meeting was conducted in English. The minutes were taken by the interim president in shorthand and written up by W v Oorde. 1. Minutes of Meeting of 6th September 2021 were approved 2. Treasurer’s Report: a. Current Account: b. Richard presented the annual accounts which were met with approval by the committee. c. 3 buzones currently unpaid but indications are that they soon will be. 3. Secretary’s Report: a. Two new members recorded since the last meeting, bringing the total number of members up to 307. 4. Neighbourhood Watch and website. A request for Terry - update the website with latest (October) Covid rules. In respect of the Neighbourhood Watch notification process, it was suggested that it might make sense to merge the current system, used by the committee to notify its members of incidents, with that of the “alternative” (and parallel) WhatsApp group. 5. Instancias: The “Calle Canna” instancia has been satisfactorily closed. A new Instancia to be raised with regard to mirror adjustment requirement on the juncture of Avd. Principal and Calle Petunia. 6. Other points: a) Neighbourhood cats To date 8 females and 5 males have been spayed. Sadly, one cat had to be euthanised. b) Delayed AGM: Meeting to commence 7 pm. One and final call to meeting at 6.30 pm c) Summer party (Fiesta): It was noted that there had been no negative feedback to this year’s summer party. d) Newsletter: Agreed that the Autumn edition to be issued 2 weeks before the upcoming AGM – viz. 12th November. Proposed topics for inclusion: Brief Covid update Reference to and review of summer party Highlight “street cleaning” improvement Reminder that AGM is imminent and that members must RSVP Advise members that any specific agenda point requests must be submitted to the committee latest one week before the event. e) Any other business: Annette to contact Jerry and enquire whether he wishes to continue as “vocal” committee member.
