Minutes of Committee Members Meeting Altea la Vella 15 November 2021. The Meeting took place at the Altea Golf and Country Club at 11.45 attended by the members of the committee of the Asociación: Present were: Annette Eberhardt (interim president), Richard Kent, Anne Vanderborne, Angela Herran, Boudewijn Overduin, Wolfgang Fischer, Francisco Jerry Gomis, Nellie Lozano.In addition, two new committee members (subject to AGM approval) were welcomed: Ellis de Jong and Miguel Devesa. Apologies for absence: Willem v Oorde,Toni Canet, Ismael Fernandez, Lisa Andretti. The meeting was conducted in English. The minutes were taken by the interim president in shorthand and written up by W v Oorde. 1. Minutes of Meeting of 4th October 2021 were approved 2. Treasurer’s Report: a. Current Account: Details 3. Secretary’s Report: a. Anne advised that, since the last meeting, individual email invitations to the AGM, as well as the autumn newsletter had been sent out as agreed. There are currently 301 members and Anne was able to report that she had received 32 AGM acceptances - as at time of the committee meeting. b. It was suggested and agreed that, should Ismael no longer be able to send out invitiations/newsletters etc, that the “reply to” address be changed to that of Anne. 4. Neighbourhood Watch and website. Website: updated by Terry. NHW: Ellis de Jong formally introduced and confirmed as the NHW coordinator, function previously managed by Annette. Ellis will manage a WhatsApp group, that she previously initiated as a parallel service to our NHW operation. Sierra Altea I and (soon to be) Sierra Altea Golf are the two Urbs that will be covered. Ellis will notify Terry of any incidents – for posting on our website. It was requested that “Cees” from Urlisa would be included, as it was deemed useful (and important) that neighbouring urbanisations work together to combat crime. 5. Instancias: a) Calle Acacia Instancia had been submitted. b) Miguel proposed that a large sign be erected at the entrance to the Urbanisation, indicating a speed limit of max 30 kph throughout the who Urbanisation. In addition, a speed camera should be installed. 6. Other points: a) Neighbourhood cats It was decided that 1700-euro should be reserved in 2022 for costs associated with the cat sterilisation program. It was further agreed that this should be proposed to members at the AGM for their approval. b) AGM: It was agreed that the minutes of the forthcoming AGM should only be posted on the website. Action point for Annette: check required signatory for 2019 AGM minutes. c) Newsletter: Agreed that the winter edition to be issued between 13th and 19th December. Proposed topics for inclusion: review of AGM plus Season’s greetings to all members. d) Any other business: There was no other business 8) Next Meeting 03 January 2022 – 11.30 – Golf and Country Club Meeting ended. 13.05 WvO – November 23 2021
