• With adjacent Urbanizations, we have set up a Neighbourhood Watch in the Sierra, supported by the Ayuntamiento. • Working with a local Councellor, we have had changes made in the Planning Ordinances, which reduce over-development in the Sierra and limited construction noise. • We have established a web site, to keep our members informed. • We have had the roads in the Sierra included in the Ayuntamiento’s cleaning contract, so that now they are regularly cleaned. • We have persuaded the Ayuntamiento to resurface the Av. Principal, and introduce speed humps in the road. • We have had traffic mirrors, and road markings introduced at dangerous junctions. • We have installed solar lighting at the Post Boxes. • We have persuaded the Ayuntamiento to introduce a policy to control illegal notices and signs. Many of these sign have now been removed.
