The roads in Altea

Golf and Sierra

Altea 1 are the

responsibility of

the Ayuntamiento.

After much

lobbying, the

Avenida Principal

was resurfaced in

May 2012, under a

work creation

project , funded

from Valencia.

This has made a

very significant

contribution to the

quality of the

Sierra. Work

however is still

needed on the

minor roads, and

these have now

become the focus of

the Asociación’s

efforts.

The Asociación has,

itself,paid for minor

repairs in the worst

affected areas, but

it is the

responsibility of the

Ayuntamiento to

carry out this work
