Terms and Condition of Buzon Rental

1. The definition of The Asociación de Vecinos Sierra de Altea shall be known in this document hereafter as ‘AVSA’.

2. The buzon renter shall be known in the document hereafter as ‘Lessee’.

3. AVSA shall lease a postbox (hereafter known as buzon) to 'Lessee' for a sum of money as defined by the AVSA

annual general meeting and as published in the schedule of costs for a period of twelve calendar months which

shall be renewable on payment for the repeating period.

4. 'Lessee' shall supply AVSA via its gestor the following information to lease a buzon.

a) Road Name and house number (or apartment designation) that falls within the bounds of the area of Sierra de

Altea 1 or Altea Golf as detailed in item 11.

b) Full name of 'Lessee'.

c) Spanish NIE / NIF / DNI number or passport where either of the other options are not available.

d) Telephone number

e) Email address. (All communication will be held by Email where ever possible). If 'Lessee' changes their Email

address they must inform AVSA secretary immediately at avsavecinos@gmail.com

‘AVSA’ cannot be held responsible for 'Lessee' not receiving any notices or communication where the 'Lessee'

Email address is incorrect. Where ‘Lessee' does not have Email communication notice shall be issued by

telephone and/or by the insertion of written notice into ‘Lessee’ buzon.

f) Nationality

5. ‘AVSA’ via its gestor will provide numbered key(s) to 'Lessee' for access to buzon on payment of a one time

joining fee as shown in the schedule of costs attached and an annual fee for the rental of buzon for 12 months as

shown in the schedule of costs attached. All fees charged are non-refundable.

6. 'Lessee' may at their own cost make duplicates of the buzon key for their own use.

7. The 12 month annual fee shall fall due as shown in the schedule of costs attached and payment must be made

within 12 weeks of the date due or it will be deemed to be in default and the lock will be changed on the buzon

and any mail held within will be returned to Correos. Warnings of non-payment will be issued by Email to the

Email address supplied by 'Lessee'. Where ‘'Lessee'’ does not have Email communication notice shall be issued by

telephone and/or by the insertion of written notice into ‘'Lessee'’ buzon.

8. Where a property changes ownership the new owner may take over the lease for the buzon as designated for

that property by visiting the ‘AVSA’ gestor to sign a new rental contract and shall give information as described

under item 4. The existing buzon key(s) must have been handed over by the previous owner or charges will be

made for a new lock as in the schedule of charges.

9. The buzon is designated by Correos as an extension of the property for postal service deliveries on and after

September 3rd 2018. Any numerical designation on the front of the buzon is for 'Lessee' to know which box

his/her key fits to obtain their mail, not for mail addressing purposes.

10. All mail addressed to 'Lessee' buzon is to be the address of their property as the specific box for this address

is known to Correos for internal delivery purposes.

11. The area of AVSA buzones covers Sierra Altea 1 including Avenida Principal up to and including the highest

house number of 115, Altea Golf excluding Golf Bungalows on Avenida Principal where they will be supplying their

own buzones for mail delivery as required by Correos.

12. ‘AVSA’ will to the best of its ability provide access to the buzones for 'Lessee' to obtain their mail as delivered

by Corroes. AVSA accepts no liability for the delivery or security of the mail other than its best services to keep

the buzones maintained in good order where possible. All mail is handled and delivered by Correos and is under

their complete jurisdiction at all times.

13. Where mail is to be delivered to buzon requiring a signature Correos will replace this mail item with a

certificate of delivery for 'Lessee' to appear at the main post office in Altea for collection of the item within 15

days of the date on the certificate. 'Lessee' must appear at the main post office with the certificate complete with

photo ID and their NIE number to collect the item.

To lease a buzon for the first time. 1a) The sum of 30 € as a one off charge for lock change. 1b) The sum for the first rental period as defined in item 3a. 2.
